Course Overview
The Personal Empowerment Teacher Part One Certificate is the first of two courses that, together, make up one qualification as an international Heal Your Life® Teacher. This foundational course is designed to empower both you and your clients by focusing on genuine self-connection and guiding others toward meaningful self-discovery. It provides essential skills for teaching life tools and processes, enabling clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. You’ll learn to facilitate transformative journeys for clients, supported by a Heal Your Life® manual, workbook, and textbook, approved by Louise Hay and authorized by Hay House Inc., which help create customized sessions for each client. The course also covers essential administrative processes, such as client registration, invoicing, and session management, all supported by a streamlined digital platform for form submissions and reporting.

Course Methodology

This training blends theory, group discussions, and practical application, ensuring you integrate new skills into your practice. You’ll engage in assessments, study buddy triads, and critical thinking exercises, applying techniques through real-life scenarios.

You’ll also learn to manage client sessions, including intake, lesson reporting, and emotional safety practices. After teaching each lesson, you’ll complete lesson reports to refine your teaching, with additional training on summarizing findings and creating empowerment strategies. This prepares you to close client files and transition into the POE case studies phase, while also hosting dynamic discussions to support continued learning.

Course Duration: One Year

The course begins with 12 weeks of structured learning, comprising 60 hours of sessions that blend teaching, practical exercises, and personal reflection. Weekly assignments and self-study resources will support your ongoing growth.

Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) and Certification

Upon completing the course, you’ll earn certification through a post-training assignment, which involves hosting Heal Your Life® lesson plans for 10 clients, each completing the 10-hour self-healing package. This assignment ensures you can apply the course material effectively in real-world scenarios.

Support is available through monthly student classes, providing case study support and continuous learning as you progress through the assignment. This assignment period lasts one year and requires completion of 100 hours of practical work.

Eligibility and Attendance Requirements

• Applicants must be 25 or older and proficient in English.
• The course is conducted online via Zoom, and full attendance is required for certification.
• Lessons cannot be fully recorded due to their confidential nature.
• Reliable technology and a stable internet connection are essential, and using a laptop or desktop is recommended for optimal engagement.
• Missed classes may incur additional costs for private catch-up sessions.

Course Dates and Times

This course is available online over 12 weeks with weekly sessions:

• Saturday Morning Class: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (with a tea break)
  Start Date: Saturday, 17 May 2025
• Tuesday Morning Class (by arrangement, minimum 3 participants): 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (with a tea break)
  Start Date: Tuesday, 20 May 2025

Special alternate-day sessions with a minimum of 3 participants are available, while larger classes can host up to 15 participants.

Payment Options:

We offer flexible payment plans via PayFast, with options for monthly debits for up to 24 months. This allows you to manage your investment comfortably, ensuring a focus on learning without financial stress.

Service level Opportunity:
During the assignment phase, trainees will have the opportunity to apply to join our Service Level Agreement (SLA) as part of the "Earn and Learn" project. This offers a chance to earn their required hours while gaining practical experience in real-world settings.
